Josh Freeman, QB, TB: ATL has allowed the sixth most standard fantasy points to quarterbacks in the past six weeks (264.7 yards, 1.83 scores per game). Freeman has thrown three times as many interceptions as he has touchdown passes in his last three outings, but owners in total points formats should take a look.
Correll Buckhalter, RB, DEN: While he touched the ball only 15 times in his Week 13 meeting with KC, Buckhalter racked up 128 offensive yards (113 on the ground). Even though Knowshon Moreno gets the lion's share of the touches, Buck can do damage in limited work.
Malcom Floyd, WR, SD: Seeing as the Bolts don't have anything to play for, expect to see little of Vincent Jackson. Floyd's 6-foot-5 frame should pay dividends against WAS' smallish secondary. Backup passer Billy Volek has proven himself coming off the bench, so you shouldn't worry there.
Muhsin Muhammad, WR, CAR: Steve Smith is done for the year with a broken arm, so Moose becomes the go-to wideout. The veteran has a great matchup against the NO secondary, which has allowed 12.75 receptions for 191.3 yards and 1 TD per contest to receivers in the past month.
Evan Moore, TE, CLE: Only three teams have been worse than JAX has against tight ends in the past six weeks. During this time, they have allowed an average of 4.33 catches for 53.8 yards and 0.67 touchdowns. Moore is worth a flier in deep leagues.
David Garrard, QB, JAX: Garrard is coming off a big game, but we're more concerned about his Week 16 opponent. NE has allowed quarterbacks a per-game average of 257.2 passing yards and 2.33 touchdowns since Week 9. Garrard can be considered if the weather is reasonable.
Larry Johnson, RB, CIN: Cincy coaches wanted to give Johnson more plays but have yet to follow through with that plan. KC, his old team, has permitted the most standard fantasy points and yards per game to running backs in the NFL since Week 11. Last week, KC let CLE's Jerome Harrison rush for the third highest yardage total in league history (286 yards, 3 TDs).
Derrick Ward, RB, TB: The one-loss NO team has given up the fifth most standard fantasy points per game (20.2) in the past month. Ward earned a season-best 20 touches and scored through the air. As long as TB isn't playing from way behind, expect a similar result against an expected-to-rest Nawlins D.
Johnny Knox, WR, CHI: MIN's pass defense has been exposed for what it is, and Knox is in position to exploit it again. He wasn't called on much in their Week 12 meeting, but the rook made good on his one reception, a 24-yard score. Consider Knox a low-end No. 3 or a strong flex choice..
Tony Scheffler, TE, DEN: His big-play prowess is evident (17 YPR last three games), but Scheffler's targets are minimal each week. The Iggles boast a strong secondary against wideouts, but stopping tight ends has been a different story.
